Alfa Laval AC line of brazed plate heat exchangers provide efficient heat transfer with a small footprint. They are specifically developed to work in air conditioning, refrigeration, chillers and heat pump applications.

Alfa Laval AlfaCond condensers are specifically designed for condensing of vapour under vacuum. DuoSafety plates are specially designed to protect product from medium as a consequence of through-plate leaks from cracks or corrosion. They have a pair of special non-welded plates back to back, with the leak path between them open to atmosphere. These paired plates then have product and service medium flow on either side.

Semi-welded plate heat exchangers are suitable for refrigeration, chemical processes and various kinds of industrial utility duties. The unique Alfa Laval RefTight™ sealing system guarantees a long lifetime sealing between the welded channels because the laser weld is on the outside of the ring gasket groove. The smooth surface ensures a tight uniform seal over the entire gasket ring.

Alfa Laval M line of gasketed plate-and-frame heat exchangers are used for high design pressure (>10 bar/145 psi), such as in carbonated beverages. Alfa Laval WideGap gasketed plate-and-frame heat exchangers are suitable for fibrous fluids and for fluids containing coarse particles. Typical applications for Alfa Laval WideGap heat exchangers are sugar, bioethanol and pulp and paper processes. Depending on the duty, WideGap heat exchangers can be configured either with wide-wide or wide-narrow channels. This makes the units suitable for heating, cooling and interchanging duties.
